Winter is almost over. There has been a large aggressive female Cooper's Hawk haunting the bird feeders all winter, however there has been no sign of her over the past few weeks. Now there is a very patient male Sharped Shinned Hawk keeping watch over the bird feeders. He frequently sits still for hours at a time, waiting for any unobservant quarry to fall into his trap.
